Wedding Fun

Claire and I went to a wedding on Friday night. During dinner she was a little restless, so I started to second guess my decision to bring her. But...once the music started she was having the time of her life! She started off dancing on the carpet right next to the dance floor, and slowly made her way out there. She asked Mommy, Aunt Megan, Grandma T, and even Grandpa T to dance with her, of course, Grandpa just went out there to watch her. By the end of the night she was making "snow" angels on the dance floor with the other kids. When the DJ stoped the music to make some announcements she said, "I want music." She had so much fun dancing that she didn't want to stop and eat her cake, and after I put her coat on she ran back out on the dance floor for one more dance!

Playing ball with Granny

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun. We saw all of the family and ate way too much food! Here is a picture of Claire playing ball with my Grandma. She's over 80 years old and she still gets on the floor to play ball with her great granddaughter.

Rolling Over!

Kate rolled over from her back to her tummy today. She is growing up so fast! Before we know it she will be crawling.

Jumperoo!!

Kate loves this thing. It lights up and plays music when she moves. She is such a good little girl, she will sit in the Jumperoo and watch TV.

Nap time!

It's naptime! Look how these two girls crashed. Claire was waiting for me to finish getting Kate dressed after her bath and just couldn't keep her eyes open.

Where's my prize?

Claire is getting spoiled. Today Grandma and Grandpa Toole took the girls to McDonald's for breakfast. As they were getting in the car to go home, Claire asked Grandma, "Where's my prize?"

Too many happy meals for that little girl.

Kate had started laughing. It is so fun to make funny noises and faces at her at get her giggling. There is noting like the sound of a baby giggle!

Friday Night Dance Party

Claire loves to listen to music and dance. Well, she also loves to put on hats (and make Mom and Dad put on hats) and sing into the microphone while she listens to music and dances. Tonight we had a Friday night dance party. We were listening to music that had been saved on the computer, when we turned on the Doodlebops theme song...her little but started shaking and she started singing along, "We're the Doodlebops, we're the Doodlebops!" For those of you without small children the Doodlebops are a "children's rock band" with their own TV show.

Swimming in November

We were working out in the yard and Claire got into the shed and pulled out her swimming pool and swimming toys. Don't forget your bike helmet when you are swimming in Novemeber.

Don't you just love that smile that is so big she can't even keep her eyes open?

Mommy take picture

Claire loves to have her picture taken...so when Kate was laying on our bed she took the opportunity to jump up next to her and yell, "Mommy, take picture!" This is what we got.

Park

Today was a gorgeous day. Claire, Kate, and I met Aunt Megan and Kyle (Grandma Toole joined us a little later) at the park for an afternoon of fun. Claire played on the playground all afternoon. She took a little tumble off of a retaining wall, but she is tough. She hardly cried and then she was ready to go back to the slide. While we were walking around the little lake Claire kept turning Kate and Kyle's strollers towards the fountain in the lake and telling them to "look." However, since the babies sit facing backwards in the strollers she was turning their back to it. It's the thought that counts.
