Kate's Birthday Party

Kate had a great birthday party. The whole family came to help celebrate...and she was spoiled rotten. As you can see from some of the picutres there were gifts everywhere. She chose her own party theme this year...Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Kate!

I can't believe that Kate is 2 already. We ate cake and opened presents. What more could a little girl ask for? This year for her birthday Kate got a big girl bike. She also got a Barbie fishing pole. Claire and Kate love to "fish" in the backyard.

Peach picking

Here we are at our annual trip to Eckerts. The girls kept putting every peach they found into our box. It was a full time job just to keep the bad peaches out of the box. Their favorite part was eating ice cream cones before we went home. It was a hot day and the custard was not very frozen...what a mess!

Movie Stars

Here are the cute dresses we got for Fourth of July, but it was too cold to wear them. So we decided to put on our new dresses and take pictures...with our shades.

Fourth of July

We started the morning out at the Fourth of July parade downtown. Grandma and Grandpa W. were in the parade carrying the Louie the Lightening Bug (Ameren UE) balloon. It was a little chilly and wet, but that helped keep the crowds down. Later that day we set off some of our own fireworks, and finished off our night with the Kirkwood fireworks display.

Dora Live!

Today we went to Dora Live at the Fox. Mommy, Claire, Kate, and Grandma W. went to the show. Claire and Kate were very well behaved - they sat quietly and watched Dora and Boots travel to the City of Lost Toys to find Dora's lost teddy bear. They helped Dora catch stars, stops swiper, and find Dora's teddy bear!

No nap

This is what happens on a no nap day. She finally stopped playing to watch a little bit of TV and...well you see how that turned out.
